MERCY29
Mercy29 Founder/International Director
I just want to be a dad. A father to the fatherless.
I was changed forever in late 2005 after the Spirit of God sovereignly visited me in my one bedroom college apartment. I've always known my destiny was to live only for Jesus, but at that time I was trying my best to run in the opposite direction. In a single moment, I received an inheritance from heaven I now live to distribute around the Earth ... Love.
In January 2009, the concept for what was to become Mercy29 took hold of my heart. I had just arrived home from Mozambique, East Africa where I was attending Iris Ministries Harvest School of Missions. It was there on the beach one day that my destiny collided with a smiling, 7 year old semi-orphan girl named Zaina. It was then I knew I would spend the rest of my life giving hope to children like her. She became Mercy29's first child and still lives with us today. She calls me "Papa".
For the most part, I'm just another small town southern boy from West Kentucky. I'm very proud of my community and still live there today where I help to serve my family and the PromiseLand Church as an Associate Pastor. I am inspired by the Father heart of God and live to see what He might do with one life that is completely laid down to Him.
